The Yellow Kapok blooms bright yellow in the top end of the Northern Territory during the dry season. I was lucky to see these and spend time under their bright sunny flowers.
These flowers have big green seed pods underneath them which can also be used for their natural yellow dyes.
These are approximately 5cm from top to bottom, with sterling silver hooks and flowers, orange cubic zirconias in the centre of the flowers, upcycled beads as the seed pods.
These will be shipped to you once I receive it back from the exhibition from late October.
